I'm not sure if I've fu**ed with you about this yet... Had the cassette, the most ridiculous, over the top, fantasy/D&D cheeseball-metal I've ever heard, the album art was top-notch as well. We all absolutely loved it when we were in the 6th grade.
Is that song not a jam? Buddy of mine in college had that album, and that was the only song I liked on it. But yeah, I've had hippie tendencies here and there for my whole life.
I am not arguing with your description of the song. I had you as retired (or just AWOL) from this thread and to have the Moody Blues and their song from the 60's (Time of Deckard, sort of Rashmon and myself) pull you back in was very unexpected. Since I have been creeping forward to Modern Times (80's - 90's and sometimes 2000's), you going back to the 60's shouldn't have been a complete surprise.
After a 15 year hiatus, Knoxville Tennessee’s very own Be your Own Pet dropped an album and boy does it sound even better now than they were teenagers. Also I’m a sucker for milfs in shiny latex catsuits on album covers
There's a great live version I think at Nelson Mandela's bday celebration. I'm listing to this live recording of Radiohead's In Rainbows, which includes one of my all time favorite songs "Nude."
