white rabbit - jefferson airplane...i think it would be a great idea to have a website dedicated to deciphering music, not so much this song since i am pretty sure this is a song written when on acid trip lol, but there are alot of songs that i don't really understand what they are talking about so wouldn't it be great to have a website to search for a song's meaning
Swordfishtrombones - Tom Waits Strange Celestial Road - Sun Ra In Rainbows - Radiohead They Threw Us All in a Trench and Stuck a Monument on Top - Liars Super Ape - Lee "Scratch" Perry and the Upsetters
Oasis- Definitely Maybe and Don't Believe The Truth Definitely Maybe is probably my favorite album ever. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lBFvI4Qi958&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lBFvI4Qi958&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
The Who- everything The audio is kinda bad on this (from 2 days ago, the start of Daltrey's solo tour), but I'll never get tired of hearing this live: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/WzQcvpe9Ey8&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/WzQcvpe9Ey8&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Landlord Landry, I suggest you check out the band Moonlit Sailor. Their cd 'A footprint of Feelings' is really good. Definitely one of the more straight forward post rock bands, but really good nonetheless. I want to say theyre from sweden... Pretty small as well.
DANKO JONES "We Sweat Blood" SUPERSUCKERS "The Evil Powers of Rock-n-roll" ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT "Scream, Dracula, Scream" KING'S X "Out of the Silent Planet" "Gretchen Goes to Nebraska" "Faith, Hope, Love" "S/T" "Dogman" "Ear Candy"
Sunny Day Real Estate - LP2 The Zombies - Odessey and Oracle Built to Spill - There is No Enemy Girls - Album
I've been in a Miles Davis mood lately. Kind of Blue, Sketches of Spain, b****es Brew- all phenomenal.
nice find. they are post rock for sure. after listening to the first 30 seconds, they really remind me of Saxon Shore. They sound a tad generic, but the vibe grows on you pretty quick. I really dig the heavy drum laden grooves. Gonna add them to my playlist! Thanks.
wasn't sure after the first listen on the weekend, but after some solid ipod listening today, it certainly is awesome and amazingly mezmorising..... not sure about album of the year just yet and personally find it hard to beat rural alberta advantage and mumford and sons... but in my top 10 thanks landlord Smeg
