Back in the 70s I dropped a dot and wrote a song. Recorded it on a cassette. Recently, my cuz found the tape and gave it to his producer and he now wants me in the studio. So I'm sitting here listening to a song I hadn't played in 20 years. I got it on repeat so that will be my playlist ALL DAY (well at least till I figure it out) In keeping with the format here: Asylum Dreams: RocketRaccoon
Monster Movie - Can Tales From The Punchbowl - Primus Album of the Year - Faith No More The Flowers of Romance - Public Image Limited Interstellar Space - John Coltrane For Your Pleasure - Roxy Music
Cool- my son just started reading Animal Farm and I had him listen to some of this (except, of course, 3 Different Ones for the F word) as a connection- although in Floyd's case it's more about the perils of capitalism as opposed to communism. The summer of Cheap Trick is done- saw them perform Sgt Pepper in its entirety live in Vegas and they did a terrific job as I knew they would. So, one last go-round through all 16 CT studio CDs (and Budokan, of course) before they are put away for at least a year: Cheap Trick In Color and in Black and White Heaven Tonight At Budokan Dream Police All Shook Up One on One Next Position Please Standing on the Edge The Doctor Lap of Luxury Busted Woke up With a Monster Cheap Trick 1997 Special One Rockford The Latest Now, it's on to the Who and Roger Daltrey- Oct. 22- Daltrey live in Oklahoma- WHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Daltrey- Under a Raging Moon, McVicar, Daltrey (3 great solo CDs) The Who- Sings My Generation Townshend- Empty Glass
