LOL ok story time. About 10yrs ago I'm floor directing a faith-based TV show where we have a giant tubular aquarium in the background of the interview set. We have about 4 minutes during the worship song for me to move the guest into place on the set - It's Kirk Franklin. I've dealt with him on a couple of occasions. I sit him down on the set, give a few instructions and notice that there is water coming from the bottom of the aquarium and leaking onto the studio floor. I've got about 2-1/2 minutes to deal with this before we're live on the set. I quickly call attention to the issue, they run towels to us as the guy in charge of the aquarium (who is also on the floor running camera) runs over to check. I'm on the floor with the towels trying to stop the leak and clean up the water and with about 45sec left I suddenly realize that Kirk Franklin is also on the floor beside me trying to sop up the water in his nice clothes and time is running out. I immediately had to pull him up and force him back into his chair - the dude just wanted to help but I barely got him back in place just before we came back live. Had to laugh about it later. luckily with camera angles, we were able to hide the towels at the bottom of the aquarium - but it was a pretty funny situation. Speaks to the kind of person that is Kirk Franklin.
