Haha, you busted me! To answer your question, I do have a lot of folk rock/singer songwriter but I was able to get quite a few of old school country (Cash, Parton, Haggard, Jones, Lynn, and Wynette) and decided to throw them into the mix.
I wanted to mention - look at the original video of the Beau Brummels performing "Laugh, Laugh" and compare what they looked like in real life to what the animators drew for the Flintstones and remarkably, they (the animators) did a great job in capturing what these dudes really looked like! EDIT - for some reason, youtube is acting like a spoiled little teenage girl and won't play the video but go to the youtube site and search out this song and you will see what I am talking about.
