I got the new Animal Collective album today in Time Skiffs. I will listen to it sometime in the next couple of days. I really enjoyed their run of albums with Feels through Merriweather Post Pavilion. Centipede Hz was an okay album but had a tough act to follow coming after MPP. Painting With was an album that I just never could get into. Then they have had some movie stuff but no really proper studio stuff so yeah, I am really curious to see where this album will shake out in their discography. I am getting tired of the fact that Panda Bear's solo albums are consistently better than AnCo albums. And don't get me wrong, I love Panda Bear and his stuff and will always get his latest albums but I want his actual band to have the stronger stuff compared to his solo stuff.
Animal Collective - Time Skiffs Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool So my first listen and impressions on AnCo's new album - much better than "Painting With" - reminds me of a cross between MPP and Centipede. Like all AnCo albums, it will unlock its charms on repeated listens.
You heavy / psych Houston scene peeps can thank me later, but the lead guitarist and bassist of the Linus Pauling Quartet have formed a new band, Behölder! Love this stuff, (of course): https://beholdertx.bandcamp.com/ I don't know if I should be embarrassed or not, but I dig repeat listens of Eilish's NDA track. Video pretty impressive and disquieting too TBH.

For anyone who didn’t see Jethro Tull live, this is as good as it gets. A great live recording, amazingly enough.
God damn this is good...that version of Thick as a Brick is amazing. Only complaint is I wish they would've shown more of the other band. Especially Martin Barre who has some incredible guitar parts.
