Aw man, overdue in my favorite thread. Thanks for keeping this going, Manny. Am on a big Emma Ruth Rundle kick, (including her metal with Thou on the heavier end): Holy chit, and she has a new more singer/songwritery release out just now. Also, for you Houston psych-rock fans, the lead guitarist and bassist of the Linus Pauling Quartet have some new treats out for you to consume, and I am rocking these in our home (at least when the missus is otherwise occupied, LOL): https://beholdertx.bandcamp.com/ Very heavy but no cookie-monster vocals. I love this stuff, but I go way back with these guys. LOL.

B-Bob, There's a band - really a duo of brothers in Ron and Russell Mael that I think you would like a lot (assuming you don't already know about them). They are better known as Sparks and their style of music runs the gamut of glam rock, art pop, synth pop, pop rock, electronic, and many others. They have been around since the early '70s (their first album was released in 1972) and they released their latest studio album in 2020. They have influenced so many artists - just a few to name include Joy Division, New Order, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, They Might Be Giants, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Smiths, Bjork, Sex Pistols, Sonic Youth, Faith No More, RHCP, and even Paul McCartney was a fan. He mimicked Ron Mael's distinctive look for the video, "Coming Up". So this is a group that I urge you to give a listen. You'll love the witty lyrics they come up and their great song titles.
Alice in Chains - Dirt Pearl Jam - Ten The more times I listen to Dirt, the more I'm convinced that it is just as good or even better than Ten and Nevermind.
