    Hey @Manny Ramirez Based on our OMD discussion here's a current band you might really like - they're OMD influence is unmistakable. This is one of their latest singles.

    @Dream Sequence @Dr of Dunk

    Last Exit - Iron Path
    Massacre - Killing Time

    Two great bands or projects headed up by Bill Laswell. Both of these groups are so interesting but so different at the same time. Last Exit is great simply for having both Sonny Sharrock AND Peter Brotzmann. And Massacre?? They just have Fred Frith going crazy on anything that he can get his hands on!

    I just listened to it and really like it. It definitely has the 80's vibe. I can hear some OMD in it - the vocals remind somewhat of Enola Gay. lol, and of course, the music is so 80's. Thanks for sharing!

    So I have decided to take a break from the rotation of music that I am doing now and focusing for the next couple of days on one of the greatest movements in music history in No Wave!! So every album I have which is No Wave or somewhat inspired by No Wave will be listened to. Right now, I have listened to these albums:

    James Chance and the Contortions - Buy
    Mars - 78+
    DNA - DNA on DNA

    The James Chance album by far is my favorite of those 3 although the DNA one (despite being a compilation) has a lot of interesting stuff. The Mars album isn't bad but has some sound issues but it could be even worse.

    One other thing: I really regret buying all this digital music 2004-2018 before the streaming services took off.

    This is pretty rare for me these days, but I may have found a new band I kind of like. If nothing else, they are dedicated to their schtick.

    I was really planning on going through more of my no wave stuff but then I decided to scrap pretty much everything on the ipod and go in another direction - I said goodbye (for now) to jazz, reggae, post punk, and experimental among others. And I said hello (again) to hard rock, power pop, post punk revival, southern rock, Bruce Springsteen, heavy metal, grunge, indie, shoegazing, and Sparks.
