    Jethro Tull, all the way:

    Aqualung
    Thick as a Brick
    Warchild
    Songs from the Wood
    Heavy Horses
    Stand Up
    Stormwatch

Does anyone in rock have a more distinctive style than Tull?

We sat in section 105 row L seats 15&16 (dead center) for $26 plus shipping. A little far back for my preference but we didn't even decide to go until Thursday, but I always want in the middle for more balanced sound, We did have to pay $24 for overnight Fedex so yes the final figure on the seats was $45 each. That's doable in my book and I'm pretty cheap.

I'm wondering if these masses of ticket brokers are actually lowering prices closer to the day of the show. This was a ticket service like Stubhub but there were so many of them on line I don't even remember the name. When the tickets actually got here they were stamped NFL Tickets bought by some guy in South Carolina.

Of course, my wife had 3, $8 drinks, but she had a ton of fun.

Question: Do you think Chris uses Autotune live? because he hits those high, long notes so perfectly.

Sure, why not? She along with Michael Jackson are about the only pop I would listen to on a consistent basis (there are other pop artists/songs but they are scattered). Besides, she is a HOFer! :p ;)

for your sake i hope your wife is giving you an HJ while you're listening b/c that's about the only scenario in which a straight male should ever listen to madonna's bedtime stories.

Gentle Giant comes to mind. You might even say that Tull was a more radio friendly version of Gentle Giant.

Oh, man, don't get me started on that! I did see the wink-wink, but that whole Hall-of-Fame thing is a joke. Think of all the groups you really like, Manny, that may never get in the Hall based on the prog rock bias- Kansas, Genesis, etc. It's terrible. Two of my all-time favorites definitely deserve to be in there for multiple, different reasons- Rush and Cheap Trick- and there are many, many others- Jethro Tull, Moody Blues, etc.

Actually, I can understand the basis for including Madonna in there, but I have a definite problem with a group like the Sex Pistols being in there- I think at some point, they have to look at longevity and popularity as well as or over influence, as the Pistols were definitely not popular and have 1 CD to speak of. It shouldn't only be about influence or whatever.

Sorry. Rant over. Back to work.
