Nice! I've been wanting to mess around with one of those since seeing the sonic lab demo. Have you used the OP-1?
Yes, had one for about six months but traded it away for an Elektron Machinedrum UW. Made some amazing sounds/ideas with it and once i got it Midi'd up with my other gear I got some CS-80 like bends using it. Next step is sampling those PO tracks into the Octatrack....

Today's Hip Hop or 80- BPM mix using the same Pocket Operators, this one has some parameter locking starting around the 12 minute mark. https://soundcloud.com/mlr-3/pocket-operator-80-bpm-mix-4-27-15/s-AG8EI

I recommend both of the albums, especially Mansion by NF.
I feel like I should be sitting in front of a Starbucks drinking a latte mocaccino listening to NPR when I listen to him, but I can't help it. I dig Pokey LaFarge - specifically at the moment the album I'm listening to is: Pokey LaFarge - Something in the Water: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/JM7dnInyDQQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/FXzEVLSoVqw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> BTW, KEXP in Seattle puts together and publishes to Youtube some really excellent videos of bands in their studio. Not only really great sound, but really intimate and high quality video of the performance. I highly recommend browsing what they've published, unless your partial to only listening to death metal or gangster rap. And it's not just stuff like this. They've done Old 97's, Band of Horses, there's a full performance by Tweedy (!), Throwing Muses, Afghan Whigs, The New Pornographers, The War on Drugs, Ziggy Marley, and I'm sure more equally eclectic selections from bands I just don't know about. I think (but I'm not sure) that the following link should call up a chronological list of all their live studio performances: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUh4W61bt_K6tflBpjWgnXLpyuu6EbNTW
