I've been DVR'ing Later with Jools Holland on the Palladia network. Last Thursday's show had The Pixies, Tony Joe White doing Rainy Night in Georgia, 3 songs by Janelle Monea ( the test tube love child of James Brown and Janet Jackson), a band called Chvrches that had a pixie hobbit girl singer that was awesome, and a soul shouting band called Barrence Whitfield & The Savages. The week before they had Kings Of Leon, Kanye West, Sting and Bill Medly (The Righteous Brothers) If you are an eclectic music fan like of this thread I'd suggest you set your DVR for the series.
