Coming up in the DJ rotation... it's on a classic rock binge right now... Van Halen - Van Halen (Ain't Talkin' Bout Love) Traffic - Best of Steve Winwood (Dear Mr. Fantasy) Tom Petty - Best of Tom Petty & Heartbreakers (I need to know) Rush - 2112 (Twilight Zone) Yes - Tales from Topographic Oceans (The Ancients) I will probably have to skip the Yes, since it's at it's best as a whole album, in which case Pere Ubu would be after that. Dub Housing (Ubu Dance Party).

David Bowie - Pin Ups and Aladdin Sane Bowie and Mick Ronson were really at the top of their game for these two.
Thanks for posting this SC... Nick Cave makes me think of Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake - Artists that I know I should like but never really do no matter how I try - still trying though.
Win, Give Tender Prey by Mr. Cave a spin. If you don't like that one, at least you gave it a shot. Mikey Dread - African Anthem Don Cherry - The Eternal Rhythm

Thanks for the heads up, Manny... I learned way back to not dismiss a band/artist after the first few listens. Indeed, some of my favorites turned out to be those I hated at first. The Buzzcocks, New York Dolls and the Smiths come to mind.
