so i was listening to radio paradise, minding my own business. sometimes they get a pretty good stream going and once in a blue i'll catch something i need to know about. however, dave matthews came on and completely ruined my inner peace. i felt like i was sacked by jj watts. i just put on gang of four's entertainment to correct the ripple in the space-time continuum.
See those of us without such a fragile inner peace can simply change the channel when a song we don't like is played. I hope you can achieve such a state at some point in what seems to be a really sad state of existence. I'll pray for you, that's for sure. The Avett Brothers - The Carpenter, specifically the best track "Paul Newman Vs. The Demons."
no they don't let me listen to that or go the the forum anymore everything seems to catch on fire when i come 'round.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/z_KgDBCvAPE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Love this band. This song isn't quite up to their stuff on "The Monitor" but I still like it a lot (it's grown on me a lot). Having heard a few of the new songs (I think they played 2 songs from the new one when I saw them in March) I don't think this new album will be as good as The Monitor, but I'm still excited. If you haven't listened to "The Monitor" by Titus Andronicus, get on that. I suppose its not for everyone, heard a lot of people call it pretentious (which, the concept sounds like it could be, but I absolutely loved it), but it resonated with me so much. Seeing these guys again at Fun Fun Fun Fest, going to be good.
Swans - the Seer.... It kills me to get on the wagon, but 'Song For A Warrior' pulled me in. Anyway, I was just putting some chicken to brine and was worried about gary and the Dave Matthews episode.... I suppose it will be ok. Was also thinking about banana yellow les paul Jrs and how Titus Adronicus in Astrosfan183's post above was using one. I noticed it was one of the old Ibanez copies (on close video replay inspection) just like I broke to pieces once. I glued the neck back together and brined it.
i realize dave matthews sings the songs that make the whole world sing. maybe i would understand him more if he would wear some shiny clothes with sequins.
Muse-The 2nd Law. Was a bit worried with all that dubstep stuff, but after listening to the whole album for the first time right now, i love it.
Listening to some semi old music... Take Care Album Boy in Detention Mixtape God Forgives I dont Album Talk that Talk Album Too Lazy to update my iPod
I gave this album another listen this past weekend. It's not as bad as I thought it was originally. I'm slowly growing to like it. Certainly not as great as the previous Moonface releases, but I can see how it would be epic in a live setting.
