God DAMN I loves me some Primus! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/R7jnhTDg4mk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I caught them back in October 2010 when they were touring for their new album. Set was pretty uninspired. Their new album sucked. Oh well, at least we'll always have Turn on the Bright Lights and Antics.
Next 5 up in the rotation... Rufus with Chaka Khan - Tell Me Something Good, Rags to Rufus Deerhoof - Zero Seconds Pause, Breakup Song Firehose - Towin' the Line, Flyin' the Flannel Jack White - Freedom at 21, Blunderbuss Frank Black & the Catholics - I will run after you, Live at Melkweg If you were, I'd want you to turn your guitar down and shut the hell up like I did that kid, Yes I would. Oh yeah. Joe's first slide solo licks were half his volume. Deplorable. Still good to hear.

"No I in Threesome" is possibly my favorite Interpol song. But yeah, not much else after Antics. Spoiler <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/eAaXS_wioYg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

DC, Good call on "No I in Threesome" - it is close between that song and "Evil" as which is my favorite Interpol song. Right now, I am listening to a playlist on my iPod that has songs by Frank Ocean and The Weeknd.
Trying to catch up on some of this year's releases. Sigur Ros - Valtari Animal Collective - Centipede Hz Grizzly Bear - Shields Purity Ring - Shrines Spiritualized - Sweet Heart Sweet Light
I am only listening to them because Pitchfork told me they were cool. The names of their songs are so pretentious is makes me hurl, but it does sound pretty cool.
Such a great album, ima.... Supergrass is always good; but this catches them at their creative peak (IMHO) I believe one NEEDS to hear the full album here : <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ebvIEd3_m0w" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/e7AHHHDspwc?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> These guys weren't as recognized as the Strokes and Libertines for that energetic Punk Revival/Britpop sound from the early 00s.
What did you think of that latest Moonface release? For me, it was one of the bigger disappointments of the year. Normally anything Spencer Krug touches is gold, but this was really a letdown.
I agree that the recorded album isn't anything spectacular, but I saw them live last week, and the live performance of this record was incredible. Whatever lacking on the recording, he makes up for live x 10.
