I’ve been on sort of a Michael Jackson kick in the last few months. My wife has all his CDs and I put a bunch of them on my iPod one weekend last month. Once you get past the whole pedophile/child rape/bleached skin/plastic surgery/dropping baby from a balcony thing and re-visit all of his music that once saturated FM radio, you forget how incredible it is to listen to and what an amazing talent he once was. Of course, like everyone else, I’ve always loved Off The Wall, but I guess I never really understood how great the rest of his catalog was until recently.
yeah, despite the fact that he's a freak of epic proportions and probably the spawn of aliens, mj is a great artist.

not sure how i missed then, but damn absolutely loving the Rural Alberta Advantage - Hometowns.... just an awesome sound... it little blitzen trapper ish and also a good hint of neutral milk hotel in the faster songs, just can't stop playing that cd also listening to the live shows from SXSW from NPR, blitzen trapper, avett brothers, dirty projectors, thao with the get down stay down, and of course the amazing and epic Decemberists show, which showcase their whole new album/musical...... i know alot of people hate it but damn i love and would love to see it performed live
