English post rock band iLikeTrains is back with their third album. I feel this is a masterpiece. For me an early contender for album of the year. Every track is gorgeous. <iframe width="250" height="150" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6-vc04Z99vU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="250" height="150" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/M3uuft_ssBg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
One of the best house/electronica songs ever. It has one of the best 'drops' at the 2:52 mark. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/oUmvPgH5iD0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Started learning to play the dulcimer. Tried to find classic rock songs- or at least popular music- that used a dulcimer. Very difficult. Here's what I came up with for the Dulcimer Playlist: Led Zeppelin- That's The Way Aerosmith- Dulcimer Stomp/The Other Side R.E.M.- King of Birds Peter Frampton- Wind of Change The Rolling Stones- Lady Jane and I Am Waiting Jeff Buckley- Dream Brother Tori Amos- Happy Phantom Joni Mitchell- Carey, A Case Of You, California, All I Want Cyndi Lauper- Time After Time and True Colors off the acoustic CD The last one surprised me- she's pretty good.

I've been wearing out the Shins new album. I don't follow them that closely, so I was surprised to see that only the new drummer played at all on the album. Haven't seen them live, but have watched plenty of live performances via youtube and they sound great, even better than the album IMHO. Plus, their new guitarist is pretty cute. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/zom_u-_h8z8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I'm anticipating the Diamond Rugs album. They're an indie rock supergroup, the lead singer from Deer Tick and the lead guitarist of the Black Lips are part of it. How can you not like a song called "Gimme a Beer?" <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/Rw_-VMbZkGc?version=3&feature=player_embedded"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/Rw_-VMbZkGc?version=3&feature=player_embedded" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object>
I really like Gobbledigook. I tried a few other Sigur Ros songs, but did not like them as much. Do they have any other songs along the lines of Gobbledigook?
