Adele's a name that keeps popping up, so I checked out her songs. Does anyone find her voice grating? I get the same shivers down my spine from hearing a scratched chalkboard.
"Blue eyed soul" and British soul everyone once in a while has a rise in "classical" appeal with the masses. I like a singer belting out the tunes like Aretha Franklin, but I do NOT see the widespread "gravitate toward" appeal of Adele and "Rolling In The Deep" to make her a DOMINANT force.
New Burial is out! Kindred EP is amazing. Streaming here: http://hyperdub.net/releases/view/149/HDB059

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/HvoPHlrX8ic" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> E-40 and Juicy J killed this beat; if only they hadn't put this 2 Chainz guy on this track. Would have preferred DJ Paul or a Bay Area rapper like Turf Talk or Mistah F.A.B. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/r9d2tbDuXeQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
