Was able to get a leak of the new Wilco album and this thing is fantastic! A lot of great albums have come out this year (PJ Harvey, Panda Bear, Bon Iver, M83 - well not yet but you know..) and this one might be the best of them all. Granted I am a Wilco fanboy but still it is very, very, very good.

Well, then, I can't wait to hear it. I admit, I don't have a lot of experience with PJ Harvey, but I like Rid of Me - a lot.

For the true hip-hop heads. Dope beat by E-A Ski and Locksmith kills it as always.

And here is one produced by Ski Beatz, the producer of Jay Z's first album. Apparently they are going to drop a whole album together.

The Decemberists - The King is Dead
    Palo Alto
Palo Alto - Heroes & Villains

The lead singer of Palo Alto (James Grundler) was also the lead singer for the short-lived band, The Din Pedals (Waterfall, off their Plastic & Chrome CD, was featured on the soundtrack, I Know What You Did Last Summer).

Yea, I wasn't too thrilled with it on the first listen. The best recent Scratch album, IMO, was this year's Rise Again which saw him working with Bill Laswell, Bernie Worrell, Tunde Adempe (from TV on the Radio), Sly Dunbar, and Ejigayehu "Gigi" Shibabaw (incredible singer from Ethiopia), among others.

Right now anything by The Weeknd.
I can't stand Drake for the most part but he was just wicked on this track.
