The new Miracle Fortress record is fantastic. I haven't turned it off since I got it. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6E_M-tkf7w4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I just picked up The Good the Bad and the Ugly soundtrack on vinyl. It sounds amazing. Also on the same trip found an original Star Trek vinyl with the the score from the episodes "The Cage" and "Where No Man Has Gone Before". To round it out I also got the Bobby Brown single from Ghostbusters II. Love me some classic scores.
This song is addictive. <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/kp5OxqtmQ44" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
how did that slip by? Billy Ocean? I was just looking through this thread to see if anyone posted something that was not obscure or artsy. Say Nickelback,Papa Roach, My chemical Romance. You know stuff they play on the radio? Then bam there is Bill Ocean! Funny I was digging through my old vinyl and drug out Suddenly by Billy Ocean and gave it a spin. Really threads like these are usually full of music snobs.

The National - Boxer I don't know what it is about this album but I just want to listen to it over and over and over again.
It's possibly that the album was recorded by the amazing Peter Katis and every track is solid? Alligator is still my favorite though, folllowed by the Cherry Tree EP and then Boxer
Yeah Peter Kratis is great. Look what happened when Interpol went major label and tried different producers. The magic was gone and then they fell off hard.
Alligator is my favourite of theirs as well. The track "Baby, we'll be fine" is my all time fav track in their catalogue. The recent High Violet was pretty solid as well.
