Best performance I've ever seen in the history of American Idol.

This guy could release an album right now, and I would buy it.

After their awesome show a few weeks ago, I have been in a prolonged Les Savy Fav phase.

Other things I dig at the moment:

    Willie Nelson
Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys
"Let England Shake" by PJ Harvey
    DFA remix albums

What do you think about this album?? As blasphemous as this might sound, I actually like it slightly more than The King of Limbs.

I haven't listened to both of them enough to make a firm judgment, but I agree with you. "Let England Shake" feels like a major, major album whereas "King of Limbs" does not feel as consequential.

Agreed. Heck, right now I like the new Bright Eyes album more than King of Limbs.

Whoa. Although I do think The People's Key is pretty good. I need to give it some more listens though.

Let England Shake is on the list of things to listen to if I can pry myself away from TKOL.

I've been listening to Illmatic over and over again for the past few days. Nas has ruined hip hop for me. It will never get as good as this album.
