My favorite band that unfortunately only a few have heard of. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yxnhHJFLo8s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Yea, Flaw was good too. There were a bunch of really good ones. Alien Ant Farm probably was the nail in the coffin, but I think the genre already had one foot in the grave at that point. Post-Metal and doom is where it is at these days... <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/mTp-u7tXuLg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
No kidding. That is a horrible description for Cleansing. I always loved how "Whose Fist Is This Anyway?" led right into "Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck" Nice. I like it. I've just started getting into post-rock/post-metal myself. If you like doom, check out The Sword (if you haven't already).
paul mccartney may have been the douchiest beatle, but damned if is solo stuff doesnt kick ass and totally blow away lennons solo catalog. he has almost as many solo 'hits' by himself as the beatles did. one of my all time favorite rock n' roll guitar solos at the 1:05 mark <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/pEil2e_bUvg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Oh jo, say it ain't so! I'll give you that mccartney has a great solo career but to make a statement like that?
The most "organic" of the great group's CDs: Led Zeppelin- Led Zeppelin III The Who- The Who By Numbers The Rolling Stones- Beggars Banquet The Beatles- Rubber Soul
You see, I agree on McCartney having a great solo career, but "blowing away Lennon?" Ugh. Band on the Run Ram McCartney Wings at the Speed of Sound Plastic Ono Band Imagine Mind Games Walls and Bridges You're gonna tell me that McCartney's top 4 is that much better than Lennon's? Heck, Harrison may have the best out of all of them with All Things Must Pass. And let's not even compare it to the Beatles. The Beatles' numbers are staggering- first of all, they had 23 #1 songs. And here are the songs that didn't even make #1: Strawberry Fields Forever Sgt. Pepper With a Little Help from my Friends Lucy in the Sky Michelle Taxman Back in the U.S.S.R. Revolution Magical Mystery Tour Norwegian Wood Birthday Helter Skelter That's just for starters. In terms of top 40 hits and FM radio hits, no one comes close to the Beatles.

Maybe I'm amazed at the way you love me all the time. Maybe I'm afraid of the way I love you. Maybe I'm amazed at the way you pulled me out in time, and hung me on a line. Maybe I'm amazed at the way I really need you. Maybe I'm a man, maybe I'm a lonely man who's in the middle of something that he doesn't really understand. Maybe I'm a man, maybe you're the only woman who could ever help me. Baby, won't you help me understand?
it depends on what you are into - if unabashed pop is your thing than paul is the man - if you want some raw, mid-tempo rock than its john. personally, im a popper. and i would take my 4 favorite mccartney tunes over my 4 favorite lennon songs anyday. i was listening to that compilation wingspan this morning. how ridiculous is this... 1.
