Staind- Break the Cycle Seether- Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces My son pleaded with me to buy him a ticket for X-Fest here in Lubbock. Staind, Seether, Red. I went with him this evening. Consider me converted. Boy, Staind puts on a heck of a show. Even did a version of Turn the Page which pleased an old fart like myself. Rise Above This.

Live at the Grand Opera House, Belfast - Van Morrison The Healing Game - Van Morrison Tellin' Stories - The Charlatans UK The Rising - Bruce Springsteen Monster Movie - Can Mark Hollis - Mark Hollis Push the Button - The Chemical Brothers
Alejandro Escovedo - Real Animal A wide mix of styles from punkish to lush to acoustic. What Alejandro lacks in vocal skills he more then make up for with great lyrics and great production. All the songs were co-written with Chuck Prophet and this album is not quite what Chuck's latest release "Soap and Water' is but still a great spin. Sonny Landreth - From the Reach Sonny has always been a guitar player's guitar player with his own tone and style ... well maybe he and Eric Johnson own some of the same style but their genre's are completely different. Slightly zydeco, slightly country and a lot on the blues side but this is a guitar CD for people who appreciate muscianship. Anybody catch his show last weekend? (I was out of town)
Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants - Stevie Wonder Here, My Dear - Marvin Gaye Up to Our Hips - The Charlatans UK Human Conditions - Richard Ashcroft Laughing Stock - Talk Talk Soon Over Babaluma - Can Autobahn - Kraftwerk Exit Planet Dust - The Chemical Brothers Isn't Anything - My Bloody Valentine

Perhaps the greatest album of all time. I've owned Ok Computer for almost 5 years now. And I've always thought that it was an excellent album. But for some reason just recently I've realized that it is more than just great. It's legendary, magical, pure artistic orgasmic. To the point that you'd want to cry when listening to it's rich sound. This accured to me sometime while listening repeatedly to the album for like 6 times in a row. Here's the opening track of this masterpiece, titled "Airbag" Everytime you get one of those albums where you don't want to skip even a single track, you know that it's good.
' You know, I haven't listened to anything from Radiohead since In Rainbows came out. For a second, I wondered if RH wasn't just one of those bands who I think is going to be my next all-time favorite band only to turn out to be very good, but not great- like Live. Then, I listened to OK Computer. Yes, they are that good. Especially Let Down.
