^^^ Indie cred, psh - I''ll raise your indie cred by raising my hip hop cred: Kanye West - The College Dropout Nas - Illmatic Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang Clan (36 Chambers)
BBut the music can't be mainstreamed it has to be indie, underground, nobody has ever heard of these bands, least what yall try to do
maybe we just really like the music we listen to and don't care about it's pop culture relevance. been listening to my favorite band of all time today. mainstream too. <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/9yCfQ7lFGmw" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>
Just purchased the first 5 CDs from The Monkees (sorry, but this package came with the original album artwork and liner notes- can't get that from a download!). Amazon has these really nice Original Album Series collections with up to 5 original CDs in each- nice! Anyway, nothing better than high-quality pop- and the Monkees were highly underrated as a band. Tons of misinformation about them- that they didn't play the instruments on any of their recordings (FALSE), that they didn't write their own music (FALSE), and that their music was basically bubblegum (MAJOR FAIL). I'd put their best songs up there with anybody from the 60s: <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/sUzs5dlLrm0" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>
David Crowder Band "Church Music". Just saw them at Winter Jam Friday nite [also heard him speak back stage before the show] and was very impressed-purchased the cd that nite.

Afta-1 -- Afterthoughts Vol. 1 I don't believe any of you if you say you don't like this track after giving it a listen: <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Hs6CDX-DSNw" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>
