Weird Canada is a blog that “highlights emerging and boundary pushing musical adventures taking place in Canada, with a focus on regional peculiarities.” They also have a section of very obscure older songs. Here are a few of the genres I’ve been enjoying. http://weirdcanada.com/tag/lethbridge/ http://weirdcanada.com/tag/electronic/ http://weirdcanada.com/tag/francophone/ http://weirdcanada.com/weird-canada-player/

Slade - The Very Best of (first disc only) An enormous playlist of 110 songs by 27 different artists that I have called "Arena Rock" - includes artists like Asia, Boston, Foreigner, Journey, Kansas, Loverboy, Supertramp, and many others I'm hoping to finish it up this afternoon and move onto individual albums.
Pink Floyd - Animals Easily my favorite Floyd album of all-time and in my top 5 favorite albums ever. Gilmour plays like a monster on this album; just listen to his extended solo on "Dogs" starting around the 5:30 mark as well as his solo to end "Pigs (Three Different Ones)". Also Rick Wright really shines on this album as well, proving himself to be one of the 5 greatest rock keyboardists of all-time (up there with Rick Wakeman, Keith Emerson, Jon Lord, and Ray Manzarek). Floyd's rhythm section would get their ass kicked by The Who, Zeppelin, and pretty much any other band but for whatever reason, Waters and Mason worked well with Gilmour and Wright. I am always in a good mood after listening to this album which is weird because it really is a dark and angry album, lol.
