Wow - that would be a great show to see. Too bad that I am not like mc mark and in NYC to begin with.
the pied piper of r&b, r. kelly was on fallon last night and threw it down w/ the roots. a medley of two classics, ignition (remix) and step in the name of love. say what you will about his personal life, but r. kelly is a true musical genius...and check out his soaring vocals at the 3:50 mark - musical weatherman brought it! <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="384" height="283" align="middle"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="movie" value="http://widget.nbc.com/videos/nbcshort_at.swf?CXNID=1000004.10045NXC&widID=4727a250e66f9723&clipID=1263956&showID=243&siteurl=http://www.nbc.com?vty=fromWidget_Video&dst=nbc|widget|NBC Video&__source=nbc|widget|NBC Video"/><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><embed src="http://widget.nbc.com/videos/nbcshort_at.swf?CXNID=1000004.10045NXC&widID=4727a250e66f9723&clipID=1263956&showID=243&siteurl=http://www.nbc.com?vty=fromWidget_Video&dst=nbc|widget|NBC Video&__source=nbc|widget|NBC Video" quality="high" bgcolor="#000000" width="384" height="283" align="middle" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed></object>

T.I.- no mercy album Kanye West- My beautiful dark twisted fantasy Kid Cudi- Mr.Rager ( and leaks from Lupe's Lazers album)
Deerhunter - Halcyon Digest Rapeman - Two Nuns and a Pack Mule Without question, I do believe that Deerhunter's latest is the album of the year for 2010 (sorry Jonsi).
I agree. I've been listening to it almost every day for the past month. I'm not sure if Beach House's Teen Dream qualifies because it was technically released at the end of 2009... But at this point I'd have to put Halcyon Digest as my #1 of 2010.
Maybe I'm in the minority here but I thoroughly enjoyed The Suburbs, but i would put Halcyon Digest a close second.
It was better than Neon Bible, thats for sure. Arcade Fire are going to be mainstream by their next album, I'd wager.
Why do you say that? I see the trend in their sound and getting grammy nominations probably can't help, but just because a band gets success doesn't mean it has to bastardize its sound ala kings of leon. Look at Radiohead.
