Just bought Jamey Johnson's new double album - The Guitar Song. Truly the best country singer out there. Dude is great. I've been listening to a lot of: The Dirty Heads And as per usual: Say Anything 36 Crazyfists
Finally got the new Interpol album. I like it even though it depresses me. Not that Interpol has ever been known for their bright and shiny tunes, but the new album is extraordinarily gloomy.
Matchbox Twenty - More Than You Think You Are Rob Thomas will be rated as one of the best song writers of his generations, I predict.
Brian Eno - "2 Forms of Anger" <object height="81" width="100%"><param name="movie" value="http://player.soundcloud.com/player.swf?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F5667089&show_comments=true&color=8D2A24"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed allowscriptaccess="always" height="81" src="http://player.soundcloud.com/player.swf?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F5667089&show_comments=true&color=8D2A24" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="100%"></embed></object><span><a href="http://soundcloud.com/warp-records/brian-eno-2-forms-of-anger-small-craft-on-a-milk-sea">Brian Eno - 2 Forms Of Anger (taken from Small Craft On A Milk Sea)</a> by <a href="http://soundcloud.com/warp-records">Warp Records</a></span>
Gotta say, that's the thing to love about the net, you never can tell when someone is being serious or not. Cause if that's the case his generation is well and properly *cuked! You cannot be serious....... I'm sorry but hell to the naw.
i have to agree - at least "and you will know us by the trail of dead..." sounds like a bunch of dudes that could rock your ass off (and they can...sometimes). "godspeed you black emperor" = cool name "when people were shorter and lived closer to the water" = badass and also true pioneers in the "bands with unnecessarily long names movement". but "riding alone for thousands of miles"? i would expect them to be an emo band w/ that name. so when i listened to the music and it was not emo it made me very sad... right now im listening to the beatles for sale - honey dont - ringo aint no emo! when his woman is going out on the town does he put on guyliner and paint his fingernails black - HELL NO!!! he tells his woman straight up "honey dont - i say you will when you wont"
so, ya'll will probably love this band name... <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AnlQjsg1Urs?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AnlQjsg1Urs?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> I'm having a hard time deciding if this^(The Infinite Regress) or Baths' Cerulean is the best release of 2010.... still waiting for that Riding Alone For Thousands of Miles debut album to drop though... got high hopes for that one
rule number #8 of post rock: never call your post rock band a post rock band. Im currently in a post-nu dronegaze/tremelocore project called The Houston Oilers Moved To Nashville And Never Did ****! ~ Take That BUD))) look for us on itunes some time early 2014.
im in! but only if you join my new band which will be covering songs from the movie fletch - its called cocktosten and poon. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5disU0zuCN4?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5disU0zuCN4?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hjU_okxTsKM?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hjU_okxTsKM?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Bag Raiders released their full length album on Oct. 1. Fits in the genre of Cut Copy, Presets and other indie dance electro. They are all signed with Modular Records.
