Really having mixed feelings on Grizzly Bear. I really haven't heard a song as awesome as "Two Weeks" but everything else just kind of underwhelms me.
one of the better shows I went to this year... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/E8jq7EBnwX0?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/E8jq7EBnwX0?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I felt this same way initially. I think if you watch some live videos of their recent shows, it may change your opinion. Once I saw them live I went from thinking that Veckatimist was just OK, to thinking it was one of the best albums of the year. They absolutely kill it live. Cheerleader and I Live With You are my favorites off that album these days.
Veckatimest is starting to grow on me, my girlfriend has been selling me on "Ready, Able" I love the live video of Two Weeks with Victoria Legrand. What a stunning vocal duet that is. Love their voices. Listened to Trompe Le Monde all day yesterday and today though... great album. I like it better than Bossonova.
there is a band out of austin called white demin which just released their latest album on the internets for free. they are working on a proper album, but this one is culled from older recordings and stuff they were working on over the summer. overall, its mellower and less schizophrenic than their other stuff, but theres some nice jams on here. musically, these guys are all over the map, but the closest comparison i could make would be somewhere b/t cream and the minutemen. download album here... whitedenimmusic.com
The guys who writes this famous music blog (http://www.gorillavsbear.net/) are huge fans of White Denim. They literally mention every move the band makes and even curated their own SXSW with White Denim performing as the lead act. I really never got into the band, although it sometimes reminds me of a lesser melodic Tapes n Tapes.
I'm not really into the whole hipster thing, but have been listening to Girls a bit lately. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lcqwfFKagH4?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lcqwfFKagH4?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
Linkin Park's new album was a epic fail to say the least. So back to their old stuff... <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/B-KvzFgw6sA?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/B-KvzFgw6sA?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Blu Mar Ten's Natural History LP from last year. Pitchfork almost gave it a 10/10 except for the fact that they didn't even know it existed.
