Incubus - Pardon me Incubus - I wish you were here Disturbed - Stupify Korn - Thoughtless Rise Against - 2008 album
Your other thread got me to thinking of old forgotten bands and I dug up some old Horslips. Great Irish band that I was surprised is still in existence after googling. May not be your cup of tea, but worth checking out.

Brothers of a Feather/Chris and Rich Robinson-Late Nites Again And I feel at home in these autumn leaves I'm well suited for grey Mother thunder and father rain Take me take me away You and I sat on green hills Watching the seagulls at play Seems I've got the late nights again Morning does not wait for me Seems I've got the late nights again Oh lonely please let me be And I am now a stranger here On these once familiar shores Silent clouds my only friend Says the child of the storm You and I once were in love Dancing the days away Seems I've got the late nights again Morning does not wait for me Seems I've got the late nights again Oh lonely please let me be All gone, all gone Already too late Seems I've got the late nights again Morning does not wait for me Seems I've got the late nights again Oh lonely please let me be

great album - i used to play in a band that covered spellbound - this was late 90's, before the whole 80's revival got going. we were ahead of our time! have you heard the creatures? or the glove?
No but that looks like a killer set, thanks for the link! Yes and yes but I don't have anything by them. Killing Joke - Fire Dances Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - From Her to Eternity This Heat - Live 80/81

Juju is my favorite Banshees album...and has been since I was young (not too long after the release, actually). The Creatures were great through the Boomerang era. The early stuff is fantastic and quite original-sounding. The play between Siouxsie's voice and Budgie's percussion sounds brilliant. Unfortunately, after Boomerang they took a hiatus to work on what would amount to the weakest decade in Banshees releases (in my opinion, of course). It's sad that Siouxsie and Budgie divorced. The result is never getting to hear true Banshees or Creatures music again. It was a great run. (True story: a buddy of mine was the best man at their wedding. I know...useless without pics. I obviously wasn't there and didn't know my buddy at the time.) Currently listening to: To Rococo Rot
me too, although tinderbox is a close 2nd. or maybe hyaena (w/ robert smith on guitar). im a big fan of budgies drumming. i still listen to boomerang all the time - great album, but i didnt really pay any attention to anything past that, banshees or otherwise. and the glove is great. i listen to blue sunshine every few months too. the 80's didnt get much more psychedelic than that one. that would have been interesting to be at!
