Yea, I dig "Roadrunner" alot; love Jerry Harrison's organ in that album. It reminded me somewhat of Suicide's first album but with guitar. I have been looking and reading to see if there are any other Modern Lovers/Richman stuff to get but they seem to either be out of print or mediocre. One person even said that Jonathan had "lost his muse" by the time "The Modern Lovers" was released in '76. You have any recommendations on Jonathan Richman/Modern Lovers stuff for me to get next, FB?

This is the end and the end credits of the Final Cut of Bladerunner, with an alternate music score using "Only Because Of You" by Roger Hodgson, from his LP, "In The Eye Of The Storm". Simply beautiful.

It is the end of Bladerunner, so if you've been under a rock and haven't seen it, don't watch this.

And a hidden gem from Kurupt. The girl on the vocals does a great job.

Great song, Deck off a great album by an underappreciated dude in Supertramp's former singer, Roger Hodgson. That is also the album that has the sublime "Had a Dream". I have always said that if you took the 3 or 4 best tracks off that album and the 3 or 4 best tracks off Supertramp's "Brother Where You Bound", that you would have a Supertramp album that rivals "Breakfast in America" and "Crime of the Century" (which to me is their greatest album).

That's what blew me away. It was like it was written for the ending. I've seen Ridley's film more times than I can count (not being someone shy about seeing himself on screen) and was astonished when I saw this. The music, the beat, the lyrics are all damn near too good to be believed. When the elevator door closes, the circle has come together. Perfection has been reached.

If you have an HDTV, a good sound system, and a Blu-ray player, do yourself a favor and pick up Jeff Beck performing this week... Live at Ronnie Scott's, in glorious DTS-HD. The band backing him is incredible and there are some great guests who sit in, not that they're needed! The venue in a small, very famous London jazz club. Here's a taste.

    Sneaker Pimps - Splinter
    Sneaker Pimps - Bloodsport

I go through phases every few months where I just get completely hooked again on the Sneaker Pimps. The above are a couple of my favorite albums ever, by any artist.
