Bro, they have 40 albums. It’s not even close to their best song. Nobody would take you seriously with that take. It’s simply their biggest hit.
Yes they were done on this album. Really only 2 members left. But this song was top tier. The original drummer was gone and you could tell. Still, fantastic song. I was dying for a new album by the time this came out. This was my first favorite band.
A bit of Bruce playing at Liberty Hall in Houston from March 7th to the 10th, 1974. Cost me $3. They played every night, sometimes twice. When I saw them, they played cuts from his first 2 LPs for over 2 hours. The quality could be better, but it is what it is - Bruce with the E Street Band. I was at this one. They never stopped playing. Slowed it down some from time to time (as they did here), and then they would blow the doors off the place (found later in the middle of Chenevert). The day before at the KLOL studio, they played a cover of Something You Got, by Chris Kenner. Spoiler Below is just amazing guitar from Mick Taylor. The images flashed are irritating, at least to me, so I just listened instead. Mick was easily the Stones best guitarist, in my opinion. He shows it here.
Actually I really know the answer to this - it is one “x” because they named themselves after the cereal, lol.
