I don't know if it was intentional, but having Crystal Gayle and Linda Ronstadt grouped together was really nice for the eyes. Mission complete..........and now on to Elvis. **************** The Kinks Lola Dave Edmunds I Hear You Knocking T Rex Jeepster Redbone (Not Leon) We Were All Wounded At Wounded Knee Hollies Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress Doobie Brothers Long Train Runnin' ELO Can't Get It Out Of My Head Manfred Mann's Earth Band Spirits In The Night Al Stewart Year Of the Cat 10CC I'm Not In Love Gladys Knight and The Pips I Don't Wanna Do Wrong Bread Make It With You Crystal Gayle Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue Linda Ronstadt When Will I Be Loved Boz Scaggs Make My Light Shine Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band Turn The Page
Since it is the Holiday Season, I hope that I will be forgiven for posting Elvis videos. I will try to stick with his hits - major songs while skipping past religious, Christmas and minor works Late 60's In The Ghetto Suspicious Minds Don't Cry Daddy 70's Kentucky Rain The Wonder Of You I've Lost You You Don't Have To Say You Love Me There Goes My Everything Life I'm Leavin' It's Only Love Until It's Time For You To Go Burning Love Separate Ways Always On My Mind Fool Raised On Rock I've Got A Thing About You Baby If You Talk In Your Sleep My Boy T-R-O-U-B-L-E Hurt She Still Thinks That I Still Care Way Down
Man you almost had it, so close, but you lost me at Boz Scaggs and Bob Seger...literally the last 2 or
Some will be eliminated because they don't seem like what Rod Stewart would choose to do. Will have to start guessing.
Any more information on the song that you are thinking about? I would rather not have to go through his entire catalog.
Don't worry much about the Elvis...found this one and it will be played either Christmas Eve late or Christmas Morning early, never heard it before
My mom got to see Elvis in the 50's and the Beatles in the 60's One in San Antonio and the other in New Orleans, which was which and what was where I have no idea But to your question: I have no idea, like I said, if the Elvis country album is any good or not. It'll be really easy to push the "stop button" and put on something else. I'm not an Elvis fan, but Kentucky Rain and Suspicious Minds are 2 great songs, wish I could remember the 3rd one that I like.
I knew that Elvis did quite a few Covers, but didn't realize it was that many (500). List Of Elvis Covers
Tom Jones, 1967ish? at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio. She said his unbuttoned shirt and chest hair reminded her of my dad (he was gone training...what kind of training? Army Training! at Fort Polk, Tigerland, Louisianna) and got her all hot and bothered and I said that's great (it's not unusual) but please let us never speak of this again
I was putting in in personal context. You know, like he knew me. Thanks for trying to make me look like an idiot. Ba humbug.
No humbug, it's Christmastime, bro. I already posted/played Please Come to Boston and Jody Like a Melody...I'm trying to think of my next favorite mellow-ish song of his.
