The Transplants are a side gig with members from Blink 182 and Rancid. Here is one of my favorites from them. Move the furniture and F some shite up.

Talent recognizes Talent. Ray Price and Willie wouldn't have brought her onboard if she lacked the talent/ability to nail her part.
That appears to be from earlier this year and during a phase when I was listening to Covers from mostly Asian women. I had very recently listened to that particular Cover and took the opportunity to work it into the conversation that I was having. Covers of Zeppelin, Metallica, Deep Purple and similar Hard Rockers --> Metal are what Youtube usually suggests to me and not so much from Beatles, The Who and Stones. I don't how much credit to assign to Youtube and how much to credit to assign presumably to the person(s) (probably Dads) influencing the music genres that the youth have developed an interest in and are doing Covers of. Maybe there are quite a few Youth doing Covers of Beatles, The Who, Stones and it just isn't getting suggested to me. Little League Dads Soccer Moms Rocker Dads Even if they are starting out with mostly copies - knockoffs rather than with Pro equipment, a decent amount of money is being spent for the Youth to Rock On! Since there wasn't much interest shown for Youth rocking to the the Covers that I was posting, I eventually went in other directions and Youtube eventually minimized the suggestions for it. Tonight I went back to listening to those types of Covers and Youtube has gone back to suggesting more and more of them. If there is enough interest, I can pull the Youtube links for a Compare & Contrast to show how close some Youth have come with their Covers of popular - well known songs.
Dunno about your 70's phase, but that one's the right one Now talk about phases: Glam Rock Punk Metal Grunge I eagerly await your choices.
I will have to think about my choices for those four Genres. So I will likely answer on Saturday. No idea why my thoughts - choices matter because I am just a speck of sand on the beach when it comes to Music. ************************* At the moment I don't have the right Cover for that, so I will have to sub in another Zep Cover done by a family band from the Philippines. When they were younger, their Dad used to play with them and one of the girls was drumming. Now that their younger brother is able to handle the drums, Dad has promoted himself to just doing things behind the scenes.
Of course Zep, Rolling Stones and The Who. Mostly the list that deb4rockets posted earlier today. Also: Black Sabbath Deep Purple GFR (Grand Funk Railroad) Foghat Humble Pie etc
Ugh. I will try to stop after this. Here is a Cover that they did in the past with their Dad. Original Cover
