No order: Like a Song Trip Through Your Wires Wire The Unforgettable Fire Running to Stand Still Bad A Sort of Homecoming Two Hearts Beat as One Spanish Eyes Red Hill Mining Town
i like the old stuff too, but the newer stuff is amazing, you should give it a try. some people back in the day thought U2 was 'selling out' but their message and emotion of their songs remain the same. also you will notice how edge develops as a cutting 'edge' guitarist.
Rafer Alston What happened after Choke City JVG's offense Its about Maxwell Song about Clyde Cuttino and Steve Luis Scola Yao's home town
i love everything up to joshua tree, but their 90's stuff is cool too. im just more into the early stuff. dude, is that a u2 pun?
Man, I can't believe nobody's mentioned "When Love Comes to Town." I think it's one of the great dual artist songs of all time.
In no particular order: Sunday Bloody Sunday New Year's Day Two Hearts Beat as One 40 Bad Pride (In the Name of Love) Desire Where the Streets Have No Name Even Better Than the Real Thing All I Want Is You There are some others that I considered but these 10 are my favorites with New Year's Day probably being #1.

It's a shame they stopped playing Do You Feel Loved after six shows, it sounds killer live.
Wow, I think that's the first time I had watched a live version of Last Night on Earth, what an amazing performance. The problem with Pop was that they rushed it, clearly, the songs became more polished during the tour. That's probably why they reworked some of them for the Best of 1990-2000 compilation.

Xanax and Wine is an awesome song, I really wish they hadn't reworked it into Fast Cars. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4RtY5L3ZQlM"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4RtY5L3ZQlM" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Native Son (the original version of Vertigo) <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JULIMK8vOBY"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JULIMK8vOBY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> That last album really has a nice set of unreleased/rarities/b-sides/etc.

I just discovered that U2 Live at Red Rocks: Under a Blood Red Sky is not available on DVD. Let me clarify that.... I'm not saying that it's just unavailable on HD or bluray. It's not available on plain-old dvd. It's only available on VHS. How can that be? Spoiler And how can anyone not say that this is, by far the finest U2 performance ever? <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AjtpplE39_g"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AjtpplE39_g" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
I am sure some of you have heard already, but I am quite excited to hear that they are planning to release a 20th anniversary Joshua Tree edition. Supposedly there will be three versions. 1. A digitally re-mastered standard album in a 'super' jewel case with a 24-page booklet. 2. A deluxe edition to include a 5" hardcover book with two wallets (at front and back) to hold two CDs (the remastered album + rarities) and the 24-page booklet. 3. A limited edition to contain everything in the deluxe edition, plus one DVD of a Paris show from The Joshua Tree tour. The tentative release date is November 23, 2007. http://www.atu2.com/ I wonder if the digitally re-mastered album will be better than the old gold CD remastered album that came out a while ago (that has since been discontinued). Anyway, I am excited to hear the "rarities" and the DVD of the Paris show.
