add in the first single "What you waiting for" and i think this may actually be the catchiest/whackiest back-to-back-to-back songs i've ever seen released by one artist/group. i love the way she says "bananas" the 4th time in Hollaback Girl. it's like a little kid, but hot somehow.

and i like things that would make DoD's gaydar-exploding Aqua look straight as an arrow. and i like Aqua, just too damn catchy. anyone heard of the A-Teens? they "sing" Abba songs but really fast versions of them. i'm ashamed of myself while i'm listening even if no one's around but i've still got about 3 of their mp3's. that might top my list of most embarrassing stuff. plus i'm sure most people would think it embarrassing to like almost all of Britney's songs.

and for whoever mentioned it, what's wrong with Sarah MacLachlan? along with enya, she's the only artist whose songs i'll listen to even if i don't like them just to hear the person sing.

Yes it is, I love that song! The reason the song is so catchy is because it was produced by The Neptunes (Pharrell Williams and other dude), and those guys make some of the best beats around. Of course, Gwen Stefani somehow sounds hot on it, too. I originally got into that song because I saw her perform it on David Letterman, and she was HOT.

I did the exact same thing, went to same site and everything. The lyrics, however dumb they are, make more sense then.

I also might have liked...or still do like Aqua's "Barbie Girl" and Spice Girls' "Wannabe." Those two Christina Aguielera songs are alright. I also hate these pathetic excuses for punk bands today, I mean I HATE THEM, but I like one song by these whiny voice bands: New Found Glory "My Friends Over You." It's got a real catchy riff. 4 Non Blonde's "What's Up" is another song that might belong in this thread. The Cranberries do not belong in this thread; "Zombie" is a great song. I like some Avril Lavigne and Shania Twain.:(

I don't think it's really a bad thing, but I also like Creed. *ducks* I could go on, but I think I'll stop before I get banned.

Pet Shop Boys feat. Kylie Minogue - In Denial

It's about a father with a daughter who knows he's gay. It's sad and I admit I like it. Screw yall.

    Avril Lavigne and Jewel :p

You gotta admit, Jewel has one hell of a voice, nevermind the fact that she's from my state.

Avril's fun to listen to on the radio when no one else is around, haha.

y'all's ashamed of some pretty fun music!

All that 80's stuff will hit my cd player long before any of the nominees in the Best Heavy Metal Thread.

In fact, except for the boy bands, (never liked that washed out sound), i think i like most of this stuff!

I admit I like George Michael and Elton John's music. Both are great songwriters and have great voices. Evanescence is another group that my wife has caught me jamming to in the Armada. Another guilty pleasure is the Bee Gees. I love that falsetto.

Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah

There's a 'blatz' from the past.

I booked them on a bill with Monster Soup, back in 93 at Catal Huyuk. Fun show.

The people you work with are morons. Joni Mitchell is a genius. Anyone who plays music will tell you that as will anyone with any kind of taste. She's like a freaking alien. Nobody like her ever, before or since.

I find myself singing that song out loud every time it comes on the radio. As long as nobody's around me of course. :)

    But since you been gone
I can breathe for the first time
    I’m so moving on
    Yeah yeah

I like that NSync song, I want you back.

Hell, I looooooove that song. I should burn that song and jam in my truck with that.

Except the volume would be low and my windows up.
