I find a lot of the songs to be filler that I usually skip over. I dont think it warrants 2 albums in 1. Its a great album, but why not make it a PERFECT album with the best songs on it?
They must want their existence erased from time. Even the weird ones, piggies I like, & am really surprised people want to skip past rocky raccoon, why don't we do it in the road, so tired, don't pass me by etc. they're all great.
I've never ever listened to this album purely for one song. Of course in the days of albums it was far easier to let the whole album play than it was to pick songs throughout. Or maybe I was just lazy  None-the-less, I can't choose...too difficult.
i think this thread raises an interesting question about double albums...i can name a few of them that are amazing, but might be up for contention as the greatest record of all time if they had pared it down to the best 10-14 tunes. its not that the albums are not great as they stand, but if filtered down to the absolute most killer tunes, would be off da chain. aside from the white album you could also add stones-exile on main street, prince-sign o' the times or the cure-kiss me kiss me kiss me. these are 3 of my favorite all-time records, so dont get me wrong, but there are definitely some moments on all 3 that slip a bit. also, if radiohead had taken the 12 best songs off kid a and amnesiac and made one album it would probably be regarded as their best.
Suddenly your "I love being boring" thread makes a whole lot more sense. What you said ain't dissing the band or their music but tells a lot about you. Much respect from a Beatlefan and this is for you what. Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/dF_3w_gXing" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
