    Radiohead gangbangs all your mothers.

I am wearing my Radiohead shirt today. And I will jerk off to a live version of Paranoid Android tonight before I go to bed.

They are the greatest band of this era.

    Yeah, I ****in said it.

Finally was able to rep you. IMO, "Paranoid Android" despite its greatness is sorta an odd choice to flog the dolphin to. However, I probably think that because I find pretty much the entire album of "Kid A" one big orgasm fest.

Man. If I had to chose between Kid A and OK Computer that would be like choosing which of my children I had to kill.

    I'd choose both.

    Ok Computer - epic
    The King of Limbs
    Kid A - not bad
    In Rainbows
The Bends - maybe my favorite
    Amnesiac - pretty good
Hail to the Thief - okay
    Pablo Honey - good

i still like radiohead but grew tired of the "indie" sound really fast. i love techno and trip hop etc but not so sure i liked radiohead or thom yorke doing it.

seemed more like massive attack's area. james lavelle, portishead, tricky, faithless, etc. i wanted radiohead to be what tv on the radio is. love them all though.

Radiohead are irrelevant. If the thread is about people being happy when band x announces the release of a new album, what is the point of jumping in and telling everybody what dumb asses they are for liking them? I can't think for you.

Really is a very stupid statement, if you think about it. If someone likes a musical artist, how is your contrary opinion "reality" and theirs not? If you referred to this as your opinion instead of reality, it would make sense. But making your opinion synonymous with reality is really...well, it's just plain ignorant.

The last two works from Thom Yorke have been on point. In Rainbows and The Eraser were outstanding. It is going to be a good weekend for sure.

I like the fact in this day and age, that a band like Radiohead could keep news of their impending release of an album so tightly guarded as to just let the public know about it only 5 days in advance.

I am going to cancel all my plans for next weekend so I can just focus on listening to this album.

landlord, radiohead may not be your "cup of tea," but that's precisely why your opinion on them is worthless. they are not my favorite band but i will give credit where it's due. the funny thing is you are the king of overrating your favorite bands. i think its cute, but nobody is getting on you for triumphing totally irrelevant bands.
    'til now :)

lol. so a band has to be relevant to enjoy them?? right.

overrating a band would be telling people who dont enjoy them that they must be deaf. I dont do that. I know not everyone likes my favsies as much as I do.

not that I care or think it is important...but Deftones are relevant. 4 consecutive top ten billboard album debuts aint too shabby. as far as the more obscure stuff that I 'overrate'. I dont care about their relevance. It sounds good to me. You are free to disagree and to state as much. I'm not gonna get butthurt.

    commence with the...

 ha, yawn. you think radiohead is overrated because they aren't obscure enough for your too-cool-for-school pantheon of post rock "favsies." we're on to you, and were gonna hurt your butt. ruff

obviously we're just goofin' here, (except that i do want to hurt your butt  )
my only real point in this whole thread is that there are a helluva lot of other bands that people should be calling overrated before radiohead.

Yeah, and he also insulted people in the thread for liking them. Reading comprehension is not your thing, I guess. Look, I'll spell it out for you- if this thread were about the Deftones releasing a surprise new album and people in the thread were high-fiving about it, I would be a jerk to point out that I thought they were a bunch of pretentious hacks. Stop being so obtuse.
