I have just about all their albums and it's in my musical rotation but I find Radio head much like DMB... Not nearly as good as they or their hardcore fans think they are. Sorry if y'all don't like a little dose of reality in your Radiohead j*zz fest.

Not sure if I would personally compare Radiohead to DMB. Every album Radiohead has released has been near the top of 'Best Albums of the Year' lists. Can't say the same for every album DMB has released. But I'm also a hardcore Radiohead fan....so yea...haha

It’s ok if you want to look cool, but at least don’t do it by way of non sequiturs. Your comparison to DMB holds ground because every hardcore fan is going to overrate his favorite band, however its validity ends there. I love DMB but I feel they got stuck long time ago, Radiohead has never stagnated. I have no idea what to expect for Saturday, I don’t expect to be blown away but we’re surely getting surprises!
Except that with DMB its a hardcore fan base only that loves them. Radiohead is hailed by pretty much everyone aside from people like you. Overrated or not, they are one of my two favorite bands. Love this.
There was a time when it was the "in" thing to go on and on about Radiohead and their new releases. But it seems like the "in" thing now is to bash them and their fans by saying they are overrated. It is interesting how this pendulum has swung. I guess that means that maybe all that gushing and adoration for Thom and the boys was really justified.
