I haven't listened to the whole album. But this song describes the essence of confidence, faith, and father son relationship. <object width="400" height="242"><param name="movie" value="http://media.imeem.com/v/GsMm-BMNpb"></param><embed src="http://media.imeem.com/v/GsMm-BMNpb" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="242"></embed></object>

I don't really get this comment. This is "YOUR" top 10 albums on 2006. Maybe I'm missing something, but this is a thread for posting your favorites. I'm sure plenty of people find yours "exactly the same and completely boring" as well.
"Once Again" - John Legend "FutureSex/LoveSounds" - Justin Timberlake "Food and Liquor" - Lupe Fiasco "Like Father, Like Son" - Lil Wayne/Birdman "The Carter II" - Lil Wayne (Dec. 2005) "Restless" - Trae "The King" - T.I.
Here are my favorites that I bought this year: John Mayer - Continuum Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium Thom Yorke - The Eraser Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor Jet - Shine On I want to buy The Beatles - Love. Which sounds very interesting.

MR. MEOWGI just feels that all music is just part of one 'musicness'. It's an illusion to think of any music as apart from all music, past present or future; much less that any music can be judged to 'better' or 'best'.
Thanks for f**king up an entertaining thread. (And somebody get this rap crap off my computer! It's like it's possesed) Didn't you once say Classic Rock is crap? (say, how do you feel about homosexuals?)
My favorites from the year (in no order, except alphabetically) Audioslave - Revelations ..........Another solid album from one of my favorites but their first is still their best Busta Rhymes - The Big Bang ..........The only album I like by him, solid throughout George Strait - It Just Comes Natural........... I don't listen to country as much anymore, but there is always room for the greatest country singer ever. Godsmack - IV ..........This one flew under the radar. It's actually pretty good, and definitely better than most the stuff out there today in the genre Juvenile - Reality Check .........Like Busta, the only album I really like him, and I'd say it was the best rap album of the year if not for T.I.'s effort. Really good. Ludacris - Release Therapy.......... He matures a lot on this one. I don't like it as much as his past albums, but he's still the best rapper around, I think. Muse - Black Holes and Revelations........... I heard this one, and then I got all their CD's. Different, but when they rock out, it's so good. Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam......... I think everyone forgot about this one. Said to be their best since "Ten," I agree. The Raconteurs - Broken Boy Soldiers.......... Jack White is the man. Rock today doesn't compare to this album by a longshot. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium........... So many different sounds, and it's all good. I think it's their second best album - nowhere close to BSSM, though. T.I. - King........... Best rap album of the year. He never flowed as good, and all the beats are tight. CD's I haven't had enough listens to yet but will be getting a lot more play Incubus - Light Grenades Jet - Shine On Lil' Scrappy - Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live Tenacious D - The Pick of Destiny
