They've crossed over and gained a moderate following in the U.S. putting them on par with such acts acts CSS, Air, Shonin Knife, The Boredoms etc....

They were used in a freaking Tom Cruise Cameron Crowe movie for christ sakes.

we're keeping it to relative unknowns.

    Jugdish gets it!!!

Indie/lounge/pop...from Indonesia of all places! Think of Stereolab or the first Cardigans album. They got enough buzz that Minty Fresh ended up signing them.

    Are you serious????

if that is your feelings to that band, I totally lost the respect to you!

    That group is annoying,

    Some great music are:

    Mecano (Spain)
    Jose Luis Perales (Spain)

I dont like the mexican groups of today.

I like some songs of Thalia

    Also I like:

    Andrea Bocelli
    Laura Pausini

Oh, really...? Is that so? Well... then...

Hey, you know what... those Celtic players almost lost in the first round to some might not make it stateside players aside from Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby. Can you believe they were might not make it stateside until now?

Its not the same, is it...? "your" having a senior moment, sir. :p

You haven't heard the blues, until you've heard the blues from Mali:

Toumani Diabate (He is the hand picked heir to Ali Farka Toure's throne.. Toure was the world's greatest African musician who recently died last year)

BTW, did you know that their 5th studio album is coming out later this month (specifically the 24th)?

"According to the band's official website, the band were on 24th April 2008 recording at Abbey Road Studios in London with a boy's choir and a 67-piece orchestra. The lyrics in the album will also be "more understandable to the public than on previous albums", according to Orri. This statement has fueled speculation that the album may have lyrics in English. It has since been confirmed that there will be one track in English on the album, entitled "All Alright."[7]

The band posted on their Myspace page that they will be performing in México in June, in the cities Tepoztlan, Guadalajara in Teatro Degollado and Tijuana in Multikulti. The band will headline the 2008 Latitude Festival in Suffolk on the 19th of July.[8] They have also been announced as a headlining act for the 2008 Splendour in the Grass Festival in Byron Bay, Australia [9] and the 2008 La Route du Rock Festival in St Malo, France.[10] In addition, the band will perform a late-night set at the 2008 Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN.[11]

On May 27 it was announced on the band's official website that the new album will be released on June 23, 2008 (pre-order from June 2nd) under the title Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (in English: "With a Buzz in Our Ears We Play Endlessly").[12]"

Sigur Ros released their first single last week or so.

    http://stereogum.com/mp3/Sigur Ros - Gobbledigook.mp3

Its pretty good and the video is umm, nsfw.

You can find the video on their website. Link above is for mp3. The band has said this is going to be an upbeat album.
