    I don't know about comparing just frontmen in general. But I like STP quite a lot more than Soundgarden.

    Not as scary as aspirin -- stop using this medicine and call your doctor at once if you have:
    • ringing in your ears, confusion, hallucinations, rapid breathing, seizure (convulsions);

    • severe nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain;

    • bloody or tarry stools, coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds;

    • fever lasting longer than 3 days; or

    • swelling, or pain lasting longer than 10 days.

    • irrational fear of Ativan.

    Chris Cornell had several prescription drugs in his system when he hanged himself in a Detroit hotel room ... according to the toxicology report.

    According to the report, obtained by TMZ, the singer had Naloxone (Narcan), Butalbital (sedative), Lorazepam (Ativan), Pseudoephedrine (decongestant) and barbiturates in his system at the time of death. It appears Chris had taken 4 (1 mg) Lorazepam tablets.

    That's a relatively (within range) dose of Ativan. Pseudophedrine for decongestant. Barbs though..what was he doing with those? Narcan is a head scratcher too I see that to reverse opiod od. Maybe that's what they gave him when they found him.

    is one of those the one that they said can cause suicidal thoughts? seems to have caught everyone by surprise...could this have been a case where he took a bad combo and/or too many pills and in an instant just thought "im going to end it all right now".

    weed is illegal, but this crap is shoved down the throats of our entire country. ive done a lot of drugs in my day and i can honestly say that messing around with prescription pills was the scariest times i had and probably caused me the most long-term harm.

    f***ing prescription pills.

    So, he's taking Narcan to block the effects of opioids and he's taking opioids at the same time.

    That dude must have been a mess. I wonder how long he was doing that kind of thing. Very sad.

    Mixing prescription drugs that include opioids is just Russian roulette. It's too bad people choose to experiment on themselves like that.

    I wonder what all that "tracks on his arm" bs was about. Was he shooting some of these in liquid form?

    This one hit me hard. Chris Cornell had the best range of any rock singer sense Freddie Mercury.

    This is what I've been doing since I've heard the news, and it's quite interesting the way it all fell. I've been listening to Pearl Jam's given to fly and Sound Gardens like suicide. In that order, and the correlation sends chills down my spine. It just makes so much sense in hindsight.

    Thank you for the great rock 'n' roll Chris... and may you rest in peace. ✌️

    After going back and looking through this thread. I'm surprised nobody brought up the song "like suicide" by Soundgarden? I would love if someone would post a YouTube video of that. I'm too lazy and sad at the moment

    I'm getting my post count up on behalf of Chris Cornell. No one else mentioned that Chris Cornell sounded better with more range that Ronnie James Dio. Another great rock singer. I guess what I'm trying to say is when these guys sang... it almost sounded like they were kicking my eardrum's ass, and I loved every moment of it!

    Apparently, the observed track marks on his arm are from when EMTs administered Narcan to counteract an overdose on opioids. I guess they were trying to save him even though he hung himself. I guess at the time the EMTs did that....they did not know exactly what was wrong and were trying to save him still.

    The dub mother****er hubba myself

    It's heart wrenching to understand where his mind was at the time of his hanging… because as all of y'all know I was there about a year ago. I'm not saying I could hang myself today but I do understand where these guys are coming from.
