After telling fans that he was going to release the follow-up to Channel Orange last July only to leave his fans empty-handed, many wondered if we were ever going to hear from him again. Well, over the weekend, he did release his new album (now titled "Blonde" or is that "Blond"?) on itunes. You can get it for $9.99. Haven't gotten it yet but probably will soon.
I watched the beginning of his visual album 'Endless' that was released late last week on Apple Music. He murdered his cover of 'At Your Best'. Haven't checked out the album yet though.
It will probably grow on me more, but it hasn't hit me like channel orange or nostalgia did. Those albums where masterpieces. Idk why, but a lot of the songs blend in together and seem more "basic", but again im sure ill love them the more I listen. The nike video is sweet.
I listened to Blonde twice through, but honestly I like the conceptual album Endless more that he released a day before Blonde.
