You know what the definition of cool is? For me it's 50's - 60's jazz musicians performing, wearing suits. That always pops in my mind. Along those lines, I'd also recommend Miles Davis - So What. Pretty popular for jazz and relaxing for a drive. Just came to me, also Lenny Kravitz - Where Are We Runnin'?
Live at Red Rocks 8.15.05-Dave Matthews Band. My favorite live CD ever and it clocks in at over 2 hours. Makes any drive go by really fast.
The "Animals" album by Pink Floyd as well as "Zoso" by Zeppelin. I also would recommend anything by The Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim.
that's old school jazz ... My fellow musicians consider this piece jazz music.... http://www.saxquest.com/forumThreadView.asp?ForumUID=8&ThreadUID=3724
Anybody who thinks Kenny G is "good jazz" saxophone isn't ready to handle listening to John Coltrane or Sonny Rollins for that matter.
Too much Kenny G hate going on here... Get ready to have your mind and your balls blown off the face of the earth... <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/sVqkAvAAuc8"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/sVqkAvAAuc8" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
What does my ignorance have to do with your being gay? Just kidding. Watch 40 year old virgin if you didn't get the joke. Buy everything Charles Mingus, Eric Dolphy, and Rashaan Roland Kirk were ever involved with. Seriously.
