Seeing Stone Cold Hakeem's thread on U2 made me wonder what would be another good artist to ask the question what are your favorite songs by that artist?

I thought about doing The Byrds, The Band, Leonard Cohen, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and REM and felt that these choices were either too limited (not many people on the board probably like the first 3) or they were too broad (plus I think we have done the Stones and the Beatles in the past not sure about REM). So, I came up with The Cars. List your 10 favorite songs by them - mine in no particular order:

    Dangerous Type
Moving in Stereo/All Mixed Up (I consider that to really be one song)
    You're All I've Got Tonight
Double Life/Shoo Be Doo (2 separate songs but the end of Double Life segues into the beginning of Shoo Be Doo much to TheFreak's dismay)
    Shake It Up
    Panorama
    Touch and Go
    Let's Go
    Magic
    Since You're Gone

So many others that could have made this list but I promised myself I would keep it to 10.

Let the Good Times Roll is my favorite. I like their other 13 hits equally, with the exception of Drive

I loves me the whole first side of Candy O and how it builds to the end! Especially how Shoo Be Doo bridges into the title song! But that whole record rocks!

But really! Name another band that their first 4 records were equally solid and great!

I'm not into top 10 lists, but all of you have missed their best songs:

    Hello Again
I like the night life baby
    Just what I needed

    Not mentioned:

    "It's All I Can Do"

"You Might Think" - is it uncool to like this song? I think it's a perfect pop song

Just kidding. That's a chick song. My favorite of theirs is "You're All I've Got Tonight".

The Cars are one of the few bands who don't have a single song that I don't like. So I'll just list my favorite.

Let's Go (not I Like the Night Life Baby...)

'Dangerous Type' would be at the top of my list too.

I also like 'Since you're gone'.
