Oh! Darling. But this should tell you that I'm not the biggest beatles fan. This is an atypical song for the group.

I also a fan of Come Together.

If there is such a thing, it's the most obscure and underappreciated Beatles song. It kinda gets lost with all the hits on Revolver. As does She Said She Said

When cassette tape came out, I first bought A Hard Day's Night album. And that I played all day long even before going to bed. and I listened to it for years.

    A couple of underdogs:

    Anna
    This Boy
    Here, There, Everywhere
    If I Fell
    .....

    Til There Was You
    I Should Have Known Better

I've been YouTubing. I first heard the Beatles when I was 8 or 9-- had a Beatles wig, saw them on Ed Sullivan... the whole salami!

Here, There, Everywhere -- wonderful song. It might be my favorite McCartney song.

Agreed. My wife and I watched "Love Affair," his remake of classic "An Affair to Remember" on one of our first dates. They made a beautiful use of "Here..." in that movie, so it's always been a favorite of mine since then.

    CORRECTION

The song in "Love Affair" was "I Will": http://youtu.be/8eV1jJa6jJE

A pretty good Rolling Stones article with an intro by Elvis Costello:

    http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/100-greatest-beatles-songs-20110919

Their top 10 (with background on each).

    10. While my guitar gently weeps
    9. Come together
    8.Let it be
    7.Hey Jude
    6.Something
    5.In my life
    4.Yesterday
    3.Strawberry fields
    2.Wanna hold your hand
    1.Day in the Life

    My tops would include:
Yesterday -- pop of the pop but a damn good song
While my Guitar -- same as above
With a little help from my friends
I am the Walrus -- for its sheer off the wall brilliance
