    continuing with the Radiohead/butthurt/indie/overrated threads.

I remember when I first got into Deftones in high school and how everyone thought KoRn launched Deftones onto the scene when in fact Deftones started playing in NorCal(Sacramento) before KoRn was even a band.

so just choose one. or none at all. there is no right/wrong answer.

my favsies track from each band...

This stuff is way too hard for me! I just stick with lighter stuff like Burzum, Mayhem, and Refused.

This is no competition. Deftones by a milenia. Korn was cool for about 5 minutes. The Deftones seem to get better on every album. I loved Saturday Night Wrists and the musical evolution.

One of the most overrated bands of all time, especially considering how highly they think of themselves. .

black metal all the way!!! hooray for satan! 666!!!

gorgoroth or burzum or mayhem or opeth would eat the deftones lunch and spit it back in their pansy nu-metal faces.

you should have had a 3rd option in the poll - "id rather slice my ears off with a rusty razor that fred durst peed on than listen to those bands."

i dont want to soil anyones limp bizkit, but that 90's nu-rock stuff is just embarrassingly bad. i can generally find something worthwhile in all styles of music, but nu-rock is so tacky. all that s*** sucks ass including the deftones and korn. first of all, its spelled 'corn' and second, they always put the 'k' backwards - wahts up wit dat?

even radiohead thinks numetal is lame.

put this is your pipe and smoke it you hippies!

I really like Korn's first album, but then they sold out a little bit. So I'd go with Deftones over Korn here.

    My favorite Deftones song -

I went with Deftones, but I am a fan of both. I just saw Deftones when they came into town a few months ago and I've seen Korn live. Both put on very good shows, but the Deftones absolutely kill it live and they have a larger number of albums that I enjoyed.

The best song Deftones ever made was not even sung by the lead singer. It was sung by Maynard James Keenan. Although I do dig Digital Bath a lot.

Korn was cool for like a minute with that Freak on a Leash video when I was in my 20's. Got over it quickly.

I’m still trying to figure out what legendary iconic drummer Terry Bozzio, who is literally one of the best drummers to ever set foot on earth, was thinking when he joined up with Korn....

Really, Terry? From Frank Zappa to Missing Persons to......Korn? Korn??

I enjoy Saturday Night Wrist, but it took a very long to wrap my arms around. There are still a few uncomfortable tracks on that album like Xerces and Mein. I'm just glad they abandon that writing/recording process and producer. Diamond Eyes sounds more like Deftones.

a lot of people compared the two in years past.

Blind, Life is Peachy, Follow the Leader and Issues were great. Korn started to really put out some trash after that but Deftones put out a meh album too.
