That lineup looks pretty good. I've wondered how Cat Power would be live. I've been listening just recently to alot of Cat Power. The newest album is pretty good, but kind of different.

I would be worried that I would get into violent confrontation with fans there to see Phil Lesh. Those folks can inspire me to violence. There is also a 50% chance that fans G-love and Special Sauce would do the same thing.

Matisyahou, I would have to avoid as well.

But I would love to see all those other bands. I've Elvis Costello 4 times, and I would love to see him again. I have never seen Steve Earle, and that is on my to-do list before I die.

There are a tone of other bands I've seen before, and would like to see again, and some others I have never seen before. There are a couple I've never even heard of, so I wouldn't mind checking them out as well.

As well as no Widespread Panic.

I really wished I had gone to the one that had Dylan at it but I just hate huge f*cking crowds. Yet, Radiohead is a MUST-SEE band for me (and their new album could be out by then - supposedly it is coming out sometime this year or at least that is what I have heard). So, I don't care if it is Radiohead and a bunch of acts I have never heard of, I would still go to see this version of Bonnaroo.

On top of the ones you bolded, these look pretty good too. Robert Randolph puts on an incredible show, as do the Dolls.

Mediski Martin and Wood should be on your list, too.

re: the lineup... a know a lot of folks who are genuinely upset over the deviation away from the "roots/traditional/jam" scene that Bonaroo has catered to since it's inception. unfortunately i've never been, but i kinda agree... this lineup just kinda blends this festival along w/ so many other major festivals. a big problem i see is that Bonaroo is held in the sweltering heat in the middle of nowhere, and most fans of bands like Radiohead, Death Cab, Bonnie Rait, etc. don't travel for shows like so many of the jamband scene does. plus, it's seems like you miss out on some of the kickass late night shows (from midnight-4), collaborations, and guest appearances in the jam scene that basically put Bonaroo on the map to begin with.

    but that's just my take.
