Kurt Cobain was a big Shonen Knife fan. Maybe not that great, but probably the closest thing to a genuine Japanese contender.
i was there! i liked nirvana, but the only reason i went to that show was because i was a huge breeders fan.
I was irritated because everyone around me was talking and not paying attention to the breeders, and they were kicking ass…
If it's ever possible to see the Pretenders, ever, I hope yall advertise it. I totally know they're not a 90's band, but I just heard a back to back of their classics, and I absolutely love Chrissy Hynde.
What is going on? It is really early or really late and you usually aren't posting at this time. Buck Turgidson and I have have done the Graveyard Shift multiple times, so it isn't anything new for us.
i almost left after the breeders b/c it was a school night and i had a paper due the next day. i would have been f***ing kicking myself for the rest of my life. and nirvana was fantastic. i was really impressed with their live show. japan - cornelius
i think an argument could be made for that being one of the top 10 defining songs of the decade. i havent listened to last splash in a long time. i need to revisit. if i listen to the breeders its usually 'pod'. i love that album from start to finish. and the safari EP. great one too. the bassist is british so im allowing myself to post this video in this thread.
