I actually like his voice. His lyrics are pretty good too, its just the music behind it sometimes doesn't draw me in. With Coachella coming up I'll listen to more than Lifted, but he seems hit or miss with me. Some songs of his I really like though.

We are not even halfway through the year yet and some pretty amazing albums have been released. It is my opinion that 2011 has already surpassed 2010 in quality. I have listened to 13 albums and here are my rankings:

    1 - Panda Bear - Tomboy
2 - PJ Harvey - Let England Shake
3 - Radiohead - The King of Limbs
    4 - The Strokes - Angles
5 - Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Belong
    6 - Wire - Red Barked Tree
7 - TV on the Radio - Nine Types of Different Light
    8 - Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues
    9 - Asobi Seksu - Fluorescence
    10 - James Blake - James Blake
    11 - Gang of Four - Content
    12 - Low - C'mon
    13 - Elbow - Build A Rocket Boys!

Still looking forward to the following:

    Kanye West and Jay-Z
    Coldplay
    M83
    Wilco
    Aphex Twin (if released)
    Beck (if released)
    Beastie Boys
    Nick Cave (if released)
    Friendly Fires (if released)
    Lee "Scratch" Perry
    RHCP
    Battles
    Portishead (if released)
    Blur (if released)

daaam. how did I miss Asobi Seksu? will be getting that tonight.

    M83 - can't wait for that one.

new Battles is around on the net. I think it's good, but really weird, which is odd considering it's battles afterall.. Tyondai's absence is def noticable. very little math rock if any is on the album.

    no more chipmunk vocals though.
