If we at least get Casey back, I think we should win this game either way.

Let AJ80 rest a week more, possibly even until after the bye.

Ah, last i heard he was a full participant in practice, usually means the player will play. Lets see how the practice reports come in from tomorrow and Friday.

usually, but this is the first he's gone full speed in 4 weeks. He could have gone 100% today, but he could be sore and tight tomorrow.

Ok, he's clearly not ready to go. Sit him out, and bring him back for the Cleveland game.

We can win this game without him. As long as Casey is a go, we should be fine.

I would even entertain the thought of sitting him in the Cleveland game as well just to be on the safe side.

I don't think Casey is a game changer. He's definitely a mismatch when used as a FB, but he's more of a really good 2nd safety valve after Daniels. I'd like for a more traditional gameplan with less FB motions, with a split workload between him and Vickers.

Andre Johnson wasn't nearly as optimistic as Texans coach Gary Kubiak when discussing the health of his surgically repaired hamstring Wednesday.

Johnson revealed that he felt "tugging" in the leg when he was trying to run at full speed, indicating that the hamstring isn't healed.

"I wouldn’t say I felt great (today)," Johnson said. "I didn’t feel how I expected I would feel. ... If I feel the way I feel today, I probably won’t play Sunday. But, you know, today is not Sunday." The Texans face the Jaguars in Week 8.

Ok, I'm completely convinced now. Please sit him. He's not ready.

Yeah, if he really opened up he could pop that hamstring -- definitely needs at least another week (probably two).

Not just sitting him on Sunday, but they should sit him all week and not let him practice if he's feeling something is not right

Texans think they'll know Thursday on WR Andre Johson for this week vs. Jaguars, who have usually played them tough. #NFL32

The good thing about Andre is that he's a straight shooter. He's not the type, as opposed to so many players that are, to massage the truth and make his coaches guess where he's at. So, while I agree (after today's quotes) that it's probably best to sit him Sunday... I think AJ will likely concur with that as well. He'll let them know when he's right.

(On that same premise, that's why I don't think today's quotes are doom and gloom. I think a bit of tugging is to be expected at this stage of his recovery. It's just that most players wouldn't admit to it.)

He played almost the full season last year with a bad ankle, so we know he has the cajones to gut out playing hurt. If even he thinks it's not feeling that great, I'd be worried about his week 9 status, Jags game is out of the question.

He feels a tug on the hamstring...uhhh, go ahead and shut him down and re-evaluate in a week.

Yeah, I'm guessing AJ is out this week. He went through a full practice again today, and Kubiak is calling it a game-time decision, but...

I'll be stunned if Andre Johnson plays against Jacksonville. He just hasn't sounded good when talking to media after practice last 2 days.

Johnson has worked out last 2 days but admitted he doesn't feel like he hoped he would. He shoots straight. I bet they wait a wee

When Johnson began running last week, he was very upbeat about returning this week, but practice hasn't made perfect.

Johnson says he'll keep working hard and it'll be a game-time decision, but I'll be shocked if he's active.

Bro, cut him some slack, he's just a walrus trying to make it on land. I'm sure he misses his home.
