Mueller: Letter to Barr says Summary, “Failed to Capture Context, Nature & Substance” of Report

Of course Trumpers like Barr more after the charade he’s pulled and his embarrassing hearing yesterday where he lied and fumbled question after question. A hearing where he tipped his hand that the White House is STILL pressuring the DOJ to prosecute FoxNews political enemies for made up crimes.

They have nothing and are now making even more irrational and nonsensical arguments than they usually do. As someone earlier in this thread posted a tweet saying this is akin to being mad about a movie trailer after the movie has been released. The funny part is this "movie trailer" wasn't even inaccurate. Of course the left would not accept anything other than Barr and Rosenstein saying something in their summary like 'even though Mueller did not find any conspiracy/collusion and refused to make a decision on obstruction (even though he could have) , we find Trump guilty on all counts and will hold a public execution immediately'.

You obviously haven’t even read the Mueller report if you make a statement like “even though Mueller could have” in regards to being able to charge a sitting president.

The OLC opinion on charging a sitting president is all over volume 2 of the Mueller report. I have no idea what Barr was talking about yesterday when he said what you are parroting here today.

The report specifically states that Trump could be prosecuted for these 10 instances once he leaves office. I don’t know how Barr and now Trump fans can then turn around and say something ridiculous like “Mueller could have indicted” a sitting president.

If you read the Mueller report it should be obvious that it was meant for exactly what Congress is doing and about to do moving forward. Otherwise Mueller wouldn’t have written out a report that put next to the Starr report and a Jaworski report, is the most scathing of the three.

But you didn’t read obviously just like Barr probably didn’t or at least (as he admitted yesterday) hasn’t even looked at the underlying evidence. You guys made your conclusion before you ever looked at it.

Oh, I guess I missed where Mueller wrote in his report that he would charge Trump with obstruction if he was not a sitting President.
It is quite easy to tell who actually read the report and who is just parroting the spin of the talking heads.

Mueller refused to make a decision. His objective for the report was evidence collection.

He explicitly gave 10 possible examples of obstruction.

No one expects you to read 400 pages. I understand that not everyone has time for that.

I would have been okay with a great many of the Republican candidates as President. I remember when I was shaking my head in 2012 at Mitt Romney's metamorphosis from mega-conservative during the Republican debates to more-liberal-than-Obama during the last debate. barr didn't show up in front of congress since they were going to have staff (lawyers) ask questions. Having staff not unprecedented (was done both during Watergate and Contra Hearings). And also kavanaugh hearings...

Barr clearly lied to Congress which is a crime. He needs to suffer the consequences. As does Trump. We need to remove these criminals from office.

The only topic that a leading candidate for the Democratic nomination has endorsed is loan relief.

Actually most democrats have no pivoted to the left as shown by Biden leading the polls and moderates winning in 2018.

Having more skilled workforces is NEVER a bad thing. What you're arguing for is a pay to play system that only benefits people with the stupidity to take on massive debt for a shot at a job. Fields transition and if there are too many engineers people will study something else. It's worked fine everywhere else in the world.

All of those issues were raised by leading candidates running for the nomination.

I am talking about politicians running for office. Still, the word "socialist democrat" was cancer 8 years ago. The democrat party has drifted some to the left, as the republican party has drifted to the right.

Does matter. We are talking about independents and moderates that will cast votes in 2020........ especially in the midwest where the election will be won or lost.

I am not damning democrat values, I am saying that the optics could give the election to Trump.
